So tempting to start beading, but I just have the bottom banner and border left to do. I bought the companion piece Six Geese a Laying, and its beading is gorgeous! Can’t wait to finish this one and start on the next!
Happy Stitching in this hot weather!
I love the pace of Fall. Gorgeous sunrises, shorter days, cozier nights. This cycle perfectly lends itself to handiwork. One of my goals is to slow down and enjoy the season. At least nowadays we don’t have to stitch by candlelight. 🙂
Other than a new start, my focus has been (and will be until I finally finish) Nora Corbett’s Halloween Fairy. This is a gift for my sister, and at this point, I am ready to be DONE with this one! *cough*So I can start on my own At the Met.*cough* I am at the homestretch – stitching the moon and the rest of the vines and beading – but am having a hard time staying motivated. It’s going to be my focus this weekend.
In “knitting news,” I almost have my second “for me” shawl. A “for me” is a finished object that I keep for myself. I have knitted several shawls but only have one “for me.” I have the last garter section to do for All About that Brioche shawl by Lisa Hannes. I will definitely have it done by Thanksgiving which makes me very happy.
Happy Stitching!
