Another WIP Wednesday

Happy Wednesday! We’re almost there! “What Lies Beneath” is coming along wonderfully. I’m debating whether or not to do the bottom of the piece (the skeleton and pottery) because the colors and scene is already beautiful.

Hope you have a lovely rest of the week, and happy stitching!

Fibery Friends Finish

   It’s another finish for 2016!

And a surprise…

Instead of the charted sweater, I added my own personal touch and graphed my afghan! The color pallet of this chart even matches my yarn colors. Too perfect to pass up: built in motivation to pick up my knitting needles and restart the afghan again.

Happy Stitching!

Almost There!

My weekend goal was to finish “Fibery Friends.” Got pretty close, so this is looking like a great finish for week. I’m still wondering how I’m going to finish this one- I don’t think I want to frame it. A tote bag, maybe? Hope your weekened was just as stitchy and wonderful!

Happy stitching!

FINALLY a Finish!

Here’s my 3rd (?!) finish of 2016:

 “Elsie,” kit by Mill Hill

This was a kit I got on my Las Vegas trip last April. I still DREAM about that store (Stitcher’s Paradise).  I’ve turned it into a magnet by backing it with card-stock. I messed up on some spots, but I think it turned out fine. The majority of this happy cow was stitched this weekend while I hermited on my couch binge watching Poirot.

Happy stitching!
